Bradley County Planning commissioners approved a subdivision change and one zoning request in a 12-minute meeting Tuesday evening.

The commissioners approved changes to lots 60-64 in Grayson Ridge subdivision. The change was requested because 55 feet was added to each of the lots to accommodate three-bedroom homes.

Grayson Ridge is the last subdivision on Dalton Pike, driving southbound from Cleveland.

Robert Allen Sheffey requested a zoning change from Farm/Residential/Agricultural to General Commercial (C-2) for property located at 124 Sheffey Lane N.E.

Sheffey said he had no intended use for the property at this time, but might sell it sometime in the future.

Bradley County Planner Corey Divel said the property would be designated C-2 in May 2011 when the land use plan is updated.

In other business, Tony Young was elected to continue his role as planning commission chairman.
