Travis LeDoyt, who has been called “the World’s Best Young Elvis,” will be appearing at the Conn Center for one show at 7 p.m. Sept. 15.

LeDoyt will be performing the classic hit songs of Elvis Presley from the 1950s and early 1960s. The concert will be sponsored by Bowater Employees Credit Union. All proceeds will benefit Junior Achievement of the Ocoee Region and will allow the continuation of JA programs in the area.

Tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for students and $35 for reserved front section seating, and may be obtained by contacting Junior Achievement at 476-6772 or by email at jaocoee@bellsouth.net, at the Cleveland/Bradley County Chamber of Commerce, The Red Ribbon, or at any BECU or Citizens National Bank branch.

“After last year’s show we had so many people asking when Travis would be back, that we knew we had to have a concert again this year,” said Sandy Moore, president of Junior Achievement of the Ocoee Region.

“It’s a great fundraising opportunity for JA, and it’s a great community event for our area.”

“I was just so impressed with his show last year,” exclaimed Kim Gunter of Cleveland. “The music was great, of course — I expected that. But the best part of the show for me is how Travis interacts with the crowd — he tells humorous anecdotes and jokes around. The concert was entertaining from start to finish.”

LeDoyt has been selling out shows and receiving accolades from audiences from all across the United States and around the world.

He has performed sold out shows at Busch Gardens in Tampa and Hershey Park in Pennsylvania and a number of casinos including Harrah’s, Hard Rock, and Isle of Capri.

He is also a headliner on the Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines and regularly appears at the Elvis Presley Festival in Tupelo, Miss., where he is a crowd favorite.

In addition to successful tours in China, Scotland, England, Canada and Chile, LeDoyt has experienced great success over the past year with sellout and standing-room-only crowds in more than 20 states.

To those people who think they have seen it all when it comes to Elvis tribute acts, this is the one that makes them do a double-take. There is simply no way to describe LeDoyt and his performance, except unbelievable.

LeDoyt, who is based in Nashville, captures the essence of Elvis in his prime, and restricts his shows to the hits and ambience of 1954-1962. Utilizing an authentic three-piece Nashville band featuring bass, guitar, and drums, LeDoyt takes his audience back to a genuine 1950s concert.

For those who missed an Elvis concert during those years, it is a chance to “experience” that exciting era. For further information and interviews, please contact Dick McVey in Nashville at 615-714-3637.
