Boogie at the Barn for vets

Crosstown Traffic, Dexter Thomas and the Collins Brothers bands will headline the second Boogie at the Barn, a celebration of the life and hard work of a deceased veteran, dedicated to seeing Bradley County have a veteran’s home here.

The Boogie at the Barn is a fundraising event for building the Southeast Tennessee Veterans home and will be held at Simmons’ barn located at 185 Morgan Road.

Food will be provided by local veterans organizations.

The Southeast Tennessee Veterans Home will provide service for Bradley, Sequatchie, Marion, Bledsoe, Meigs, Hamilton, Roane, Loudon, McMinn, Polk and Monroe counties.

The event begins at 3 p.m., Aug. 22 and ends at 11 p.m.
