The couple will wed in a noon ceremony on Sept. 3 at the Fellowship of Praise in Cleveland.
The bride-elect is the mother of D.J. Brown, Shay Starnes and Cheyenne Watson, all of Cleveland. She is the granddaughter of the late Floyd and Cecil Howard and the late Paul and Jean Webb. She is the sister of Casey Howard of Cleveland.
The future bridegroom is the father of Ashley Gatlin and Joseph Estep Gatlin, both of Cleveland. He is the grandson of the late Munro and Leona Carter and the late Arthur and Stella Gatlin. He is the brother of Veronica Lewallen and David Gatlin, both of Cleveland.
Ms. Howard and Mr. Gatlin both attended Bradley Central High School.
