Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Breast Cancer Network of Strength Chattanooga, The Becky Cooke Smith Scholarship Fund at UTC and the Brenda Davis Foundation of Cleveland.
The tournament has raised more than $120,000 for these organizations in the past four years.
Cooke Smith, was a resident of Cleveland for 54 years and partnered in several business ventures. She was an active member of her community, a life-long member of First United Methodist Church and received the Cleveland Chamber of Commerce M.C. Headrick Award.
After being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2004, Cooke Smith remained active in her community and business until her death in April of 2007.
The Becky Cooke Smith Memorial Golf Tournament honors her life and the many lives she touched.
Prizes will be awarded for closest to the pin and longest drive for both men and women. There will also be separate hole-in-one competitions for a chance to win a car and $10,000.
