On Friday, Cleveland Middle School held its first Positive Behavior Support celebration of the school year. The students earned tickets to attend the celebration by following the five following school expectations:

—Arrive on time prepared to learn.

—Show respect to yourself and others.

—Show respect to all adults.

—Take pride in your school.

—Always give your best effort.

The qualifications to attend the PBS celebration were to have earned at least 4 PBS tickets, have no in- or out-of-school suspensions, have no unexcused absences, have no more than two tardies to school and have no overdue library books.

The qualifying students were bused to the school’s BEST partner, Westwood Baptist Church, where they enjoyed a nice time outside. The students were able to participate in outdoor games, play board games and play on an inflatable slide. Parents donated treats for the students to enjoy during their PBS celebration.
