Judy L. Lowery, 64, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2011, in a local hospital.

She was of the Baptist faith. She loved working with children and traveling.

She was the daughter of the late Arthur Jess Rogers and Irene Elizabeth Coffman Rogers. She was also preceded in death by her brothers: Nelson Rogers, A.J. Rogers and Donald Rogers; and two sisters: Catherine Geren and Opal Morrison.

Survivors include her husband, Don Lowery, of Cleveland; two sisters: Shirley Carter and Jessie Brennan, both of Cleveland; one brother, Neal Rogers and wife, Debbie Rogers, of Georgetown; sister-in-law, Barbara Rogers of Cleveland; brother-in-law, Wayne Morrison of Nashville; special great-nephew, Jacob Brennan of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 16, 2011, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Earl Farris officiating.

Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Jeff Carter, Kyle Carter, Bradlee Carter, Tim Rogers, Ryan Carter and Randy Garrett serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 this evening at the funeral home.
