Tim and Janet Childrey announce the engagement of their daughter, Kirstin Alysse, to Trey Bradshaw, the son of Herb and Connie Bradshaw of Athens.

The couple will wed on Dec. 23 at North Cleveland Baptist Church.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Betty Berry of Cleveland, the late Jack Berry, Willa Childrey of Cleveland and the late Wendell Childrey. She is the sister of Brooke Childrey of Knoxville and Keith Childrey of Nashville.

Miss Childrey is a 2007 graduate of Walker Valley High School and a 2011 graduate of the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. She attends the Oklahoma University Health Sciences Center.

She is a member of First Baptist Church.

The future bridegroom is the grandson of Peggy Bradshaw of Lebanon, the late Herbert Bradshaw, Jane Wheeler of Pulaski and the late Barnett Wheeler. He is the brother of Ellen Sherrill of Knoxville.

Mr. Bradshaw is a 2007 graduate of Walker Valley High School. A second lieutenant with the U.S Army, he is a 2011 graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.

He is a member of Athens Church of Christ.
