The Cleveland Middle School Lady Raiders defeated Lake Forest 4-0 in soccer after waiting out the storms that rolled through Cleveland on Thursday.

The Lady Raiders are just past the half-way point of their season, and have a record of three wins and three losses. They have a challenging schedule this season, playing teams such as GPS, Ocoee Middle, Chattanooga Christian, and Baylor.

The biggest highlight of the season so far has been a thrilling victory over Chattanooga Christian. The Lady Raiders found themselves down 1-0 at halftime and came back to win 3-1.

The team is lead by co-captains Samantha DeBien and Lauren Borst, and is composed of one sixth grader, two seventh graders, and 12 eighth graders.

With five games remaining the Lady Raiders look to finish strong as they play Baylor and Sweetwater twice and Ocoee Middle once more.
