The Salvation Army Community Mass Choir will present its first public concert, “A Night of Hope,” on Oct 1 at 7 p.m. at Peerless Road Church, 3301 Peerless Road, Cleveland.

“A Night of Hope” is a celebration of the progress our community has made since the tornado storms of April 27. It is a salute to those who have been so helpful serving in the healing and restoration phase.

The musical arrangements will include songs of faith, healing and freedom — sung by people of all backgrounds, ages and church affiliations.

Anyone is welcome to be a part of the choir — no matter the level of experience or musical capabilities. Plans are for the choir to sing at community events throughout the year.

For more information about the concert or joining the choir, call Melissa Snyder at 308-3467.
