Cate Elizabeth Tindal of Cleveland and Spencer Thompson Green of Savannah, Ga., were united in marriage in an evening ceremony on July 23, 2011, at Black Fox Farms.

The bride is the daughter of Jim and Susan Tindal of Cleveland. She is the granddaughter of the late Hugh and Emma Cate and the late Jim and Betty Tindal.

The bridegroom is the son of Rick and Tracy Green of Columbia, S.C. He is the grandson of Richard and Alberta Green of Fayetteville, N.C., and the late Edward and Leonora Brown.

The wedding was officiated by the Rev. David Landrith, cousin of the bride and pastor of Long Hollow Baptist Church in Hendersonville.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. Her cousin, Emily Lay of Cleveland, was maid of honor and Jessica Tyndall of South Carolina was matron of honor.

Bridesmaids were Amy Beth Bullard of Cleveland and Kaffa Hayes of Detroit. The bride’s cousin, Rachel Landrith of Hendersonville, attended the guest book.

The bridegroom’s brother, Elliott Green of Columbia, S.C., served him as best man. Groomsmen were Eddie Bentz of Birmingham, Ala., and Michael Norton of Goosecreek, S.C. Ushers were the bride’s cousins, Jake Ramsey and Will Ramsey, both of Cleveland, and Sam Landrith and Josh Landrith, both of Hendersonville.

The parents of the bride gave the wedding reception.

After a wedding trip to St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, Mr. and Mrs. Green live in Savannah.
