Before her retirement, she was employed as a bank teller at Athens Federal Bank in Etowah. She loved playing games on the computer and found comfort looking at family photos.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Merton Phillips and Edna Cox Phillips; husband, James Weaver; and grandson, Jacob Joslin.
She is survived by her three children: Casey Richey of Frankfort, Mich., Dawn Teslow and husband, Keith, of Chuckey, and Diane Joslin and husband, Mike, of Cleveland; and six granchildren.
At her request, there will be no services held at this time.
