She was the daughter of the late Ollie Pickle Wilson and Luther Wilson.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ervin Eli Gibson; grandson, Zachary Gibson; sisters: Freida Allen, Lois Grable Mantooth, Inez Crenshaw, Mildred Sparks and Vera Sue Wilson; and her brothers: L. T. Wilson, Roy “Bud” Wilson, Bill Wilson, Johnny Wilson and Jack Wilson.
She enjoyed her dogs and spending time with her grandchildren.
She attended the Church of God.
Survivors include her sons: Tracy Gibson and his wife, Shirley, Gary Gibson, Justin Garvich, Hunter Gibson and Kyle Gibson, all of Cleveland; daughters: Mechelle Ballew and her husband, Tim,of Ellijay, Ga., and Susan Clendaniel and her husband, Michael, of Rockwood; sisters: Frances Couch and her husband, Willard, Barbara Kyle and her husband, Bobby, all of Benton, and Nina Prichard and her husband, Spence, of Cleveland; special niece, Cathy Whaley-Caldwell of Cleveland; daughter-in-law, Paula Gibson, also of Cleveland; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A Remembrance of Life service will be conducted Monday, Sept. 26, 2011, at 3 p.m., from the Wildwood Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes with the Revs. David Rose, Timothy Ballew and Grady Simpson officiating.
Interment will follow in the Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with Blake Gibson, Timothy Ballew, Derrick Gibson, Justin Garvich, Tim Ballew and Michael Dorsey serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 4 until 8 today funeral home.
