Stephanie Cobb Glover, 38, of Cleveland, died Monday, Sept. 26, 2011, at her residence.
She was a graduate of Cleveland High School, Class of 1992. She attended cosmetology school and received her license. She was a member of the local rap duo ‘SK,’ performing and well known in Cleveland and many places, such as Atlanta and Chattanooga.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Mattie Thomas; and grandmother Julia Watkins.
Survivors include her husband, Orlando Glover of Cleveland; one son, Correz Trevare Wells; two daughters: Shaqu’a Akshane Cobb and Kansas DaMaya Glover, all of Cleveland; mother, Ruth Stokes of Cleveland; two brothers: Kevin Milton (Areia) Cobb of Decatur, Ga., and Keith Demond (Deketa Tranae) Cobb of Snellville, Ga.; grandfather, James Watkins of Cleveland; one uncle, Dewayne Milton (Oksun) Cobb of Cleveland; one great-aunt, Clara Hale of South Pittsburg; father-in-law, Irvin (Beverly) Glover Jr.; mother-in-law, Brenda F. Sims; brothers and sisters-in-law: Antonio Terry, LaFredrick (Tammy) Glover, Robert and Esther Smith, Keith and Denise Jones, Bonita, Mildred, and Bernard Glover, all of Chattanooga, Sandra Glover of Ringgold, Ga., Christopher Rice, Glenda, Dorothy, Earl and Vicki Jones ; and other relatives and many special friends.
The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 2, 2011, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with minister Joshua Sarmiento delivering the eulogy.
Interment will follow at Fort Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church.
Visitation by friends will begin after noon Saturday at M.D. Dotson and Sons Funeral Home.
