Margaret Brancefield, 82, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Friday morning, Sept. 30, 2011, in a Chattanooga Hospital.

She was the daughter of the late Annie Link Bishop and Joe Bishop.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Brancefield; her son, Larry Dean Brancefield; grandsons: Stacey Lynn Rymer and Larry Joey Brancefield; and brothers: Ray and J.C. Bishop.

She enjoyed going to church, gospel singing and spending time with her family. She enjoyed life. She was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, JoAnn Griffin and her husband, Troy, of Dallas, Ga.; grandchildren: Kenny Brancefield and his wife, Carolee, of Charleston; great-grandchildren: Cody Rymer, Jade Brancefield, Klay Brancefield and Kole Brancefield; sisters: Anna Lou Marshall of Cleveland, Betty Jo Hutson and her husband, Herbert, of Cleveland and Dorothy Burris of Benton; and several nieces and nephews.

A Remembrance of Life service will be conducted at 2 p.m. today, Oct. 2, 2011, at the Wildwood Avenue Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes with Pastor Ray Higgins officiating.

Interment will follow in Benton Memorial Gardens with Randall Marshall, Michael Marshall, Barry Marshall, David Burris, Charles Burris, Ricky Hutson and Danny Hutson serving as pallbearers.
