Byron and Anne Woody announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Alexandra, to Nicholas Anthony Lorenzano, of Kissimmee, Fla., the son of Victor and Debbie Lorenzano of St. Cloud, Fla.

The couple will exchange vows Dec. 10 in a 4 p.m. ceremony at Black Fox Farms.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Charles and Dora Stone of Harrison, Rita Ellis of Old Fort and Herbert Woody of Cleveland. She is the sister of Ashley Bennewitz of Knoxville.

Miss Woody is a 2005 graduate of Cleveland High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in animal science, research and biotechnology from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. She pursued her graduate studies in histology at Keiser University in Orlando, Fla. She is employed at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in Lakeland, Fla., where she works in the pathology lab as a histotechnologist.

The future bridegroom is the grandson of Richard and Mary Zimmer of Indianapolis, Maria Lorenzano of Indianapolis and the late Tony Lorenzano. He is the brother of Kristen Lorenzano of Indianapolis.

Mr. Lorenzano is a 2003 graduate of St. Cloud (Fla.) High School. He attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and graduated in 2008 with a bachelor of science degree in criminal law. He is employed in Osceola County, Fla., as a deputy sheriff and is an assistant wrestling coach at Celebration High School.
