She was a member of Eastside Church of Christ.
She was retired from Frigidaire Corp. in Dalton, Ga.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George W. and Hulda McElroy Davis; daughter, Sharon George; son, Danny George; brothers: Hubert Davis, Marvin Davis and Kenneth Davis; sister, Beatrice Strawn; and grandson, Justin Eslinger.
Survivors include her children: Roy George and wife, Lisa, Troy George and wife, Chrissy, and Regina George, all of Cleveland; eight grandchildren: Jonathan George, Ryan George, Michael George, Dustin George, Sheena Cox, Ivan Pritchett, Tanner Anderson and Heather Fredrick; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Ronald Davis of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14, 2011, at Eastside Church Of Christ with Minister Jeff Archey officiating.
Interment will follow in Dill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 this evening at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.
