When the April 27 tornado tore through the Jerry and Betty Morris home, one of the casualties was Morris’ “pride and joy” — an antique Ford Ranchero. The Morrises’ daughter, Jeri Moody, called State Farm to see if she could get the car back from salvage as a surprise for her father during A&E’s “Disaster Guy” TV show. Hugh Walker, the State Farm agent, helped them recover the vehicle and it is presently being restored by Morris. From left are, Betty Morris, Jerry Morris, Hugh Walker and Jeri Moody.
