Mattie “Cricket” Morrow, 61, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, Oct. 23, 2011, in a local hospital.
She was the daughter of the late Mable Bedwell Duckett and J.B. Duckett. She was also preceded in death by her sisters: Virginia Ballew and Patsy Hood; and her brother, James Duckett.
She enjoyed watching TV and sitting outside. She was of the Christian faith.
Survivors include her husband, Haskell O. Morrow, of Cleveland; two sons: Donnie Morrow and his wife, Tiffany, and Haskell William Morrow and his wife, Teresa, all of Cleveland; four grandchildren; sister, Hazel E. Prater and her husband, Larry, of McDonald; and several nieces and nephews.
A Remembrance of Life service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2011, at the Wildwood Avenue Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes with the Rev. Dale Shaffer officiating.
Interment will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the family plot of Fort Hill Cemetery with Nathaniel Harris, Rob Black, Eddie Wright, Danny Wright, Jesse Shaffer and Travis Posley serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
