Audra Ruth Lingerfelt Daniel, 89, a resident of Cleveland, passed away late Thursday evening in a local hospital.

She was the daughter of the late Will J. Lingerfelt and Mary Ann Harrod Lingerfelt. Her husband, Fred R. Daniel, also preceded her in death along with a son, Fred R. Daniel Jr., a sister, Agnes Lingerfelt Burns Leasure and a son-in-law, Larry Ratledge.

She was a very loving mother, grandmother and friend and will be missed by her family. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include two daughters, Mary Ruth Daniel Rogers and her husband, Jimmy, of Riceville, Betty Daniel Ratledge of Cleveland; 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Vonnie Voyles of Daytona Beach, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

A Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Jim Rush Funeral Homes, North Ocoee Chapel with Dr. Bob Kerr, pastor of North Athens Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Jim Rush Funeral Homes, North Ocoee Chapel, which is in charge of arrangements.
