David Allen Hutchison, 64, a resident of Cleveland, and a past resident of Smyrna, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2011, in a local hospital.

He was of the Protestant faith.

He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and also a member of the American Legion, DVA.

He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a life-time member of the North American Hunting Club. He loved to assemble model cars and enjoyed NASCAR. He was a fan of the Tennessee Titans and Marshall.

He was preceded in death by his father, Cecil Hutchison.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Gail Hutchison of Cleveland; mother, Rosella Thompson Hutchison of Huntington, W.Va.; one daughter, Kim Brown of Riceville; two grandchildren: Hunter Brown of Anderson, S.C., and Cheyenne Brown of Riceville; one sister, Karen Dunfee and husband, Henry, of Huntington; and nieces: Elicia Dunfee Danielle and Cameron Dunfee.

A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
