Contemporary living close in to town can be found in these stylish townhomes, this week’s featured Homes of the Week. An open house is set for this weekend for prospective buyers to view them.

These new abodes are ready to move into and have been equipped with energy-saving features. They are perfect for the busy individual, couple or family. For $129,900, it’s first-come, first-served. The builders have completed their installations, including landscaping in this close-to-everything community.

Tricia P. Haws is the owner of these unique dwellings located in Stonebriar Drive, off Old Tasso Road near the intersection of Blythe Ferry Road. These modern, custom townhomes include many of the amenities found in today’s larger homes. Each unit has approximately 1,200 square feet.

Four units are available. Each townhome has two full baths and a half-bath.

Each unit is complete with high-speed Internet, a security system, cable TV, utilities and other amenities.

Hardwood flooring was utilized in the main living areas of the home, such as the kitchen and living room. The floor plan provides plenty of open, airy space.

Custom paint colors are also evident throughout the units which have two large bedrooms.

The kitchen is supplied with stainless appliances and custom raised-panel cabinets in a rich, dark finish.

Solid granite countertops were used in the modern kitchen. Unique pendant and recessed lighting was also utilized in the eat-in area of the kitchen. The granite breakfast bar is spacious and will be great for on-the-go families. Brushed stainless plumbing fixtures were used as accents. A utility area was also furnished in the kitchen and is neatly tucked away behind closed doors.

The two bedrooms are on the second level of the units. Custom handrails complete the stairwell to the upstairs portion of the townhome.

The master bedroom is large enough to accommodate bigger furnishings and has a vaulted ceiling. Accent lighting is also provided in the master bedroom area as well as other rooms. Large walk-in closets were also designed in the floor plan for the master bedroom. The master bath features a custom topped vanity and tile flooring. A full shower/tub combination is provided in both full baths. The master bath also has rubbed bronze plumbing features.

Rubbed bronze lighting fixtures are also placed throughout the townhomes. The units have been equipped with ceiling fans, stabilized cellulose insulation and built with TVA Energy Right codes in mind for energy savings, including vinyl windows.

As for the exterior of the townhomes, the facade is finished in stacked stone and brick. The roofline is finished with architectural shingles.

Each home also has its own covered front porch.

Landscaping is in place and the sod is down. Each unit has a privacy fence and wood patio deck.

An added feature is a single-car garage.

These homes are ready to move in upon the buyer’s need.

An open house is planned for Sunday from 2 until 4 p.m.
