Eva Lee Green, 89, a resident of Canton, Ga., passed away Monday, Nov. 7, 2011, at her home.

She was a resident of Cleveland for most of her life. She was a member of Westwood Baptist Church, where she was also a member of the Triple L Group.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alonzo and Lillie Ingram; her husband, Sam Green; several brothers and sisters: Bill Ingram, Roy Ingram, Jim Ingram, Clifford Ingram, Leonard “Flat Head” Ingram, C.L. Ingram, Bonnie Dobbs and Ruth Ott; and a stepsister, Essie Blankenship.

Survivors include two daughters: Judy Kuehnemund and Linda Green Brannon, both of Canton; four grandchildren: Steven Thomas, Ty Sharp, Scott Honea and Christi Judd; six great-grandchildren: Leanne Thomas, David Thomas, Emily Sharp, Sam Sharp, Zach Judd and Audrey Judd; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, 2011, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Rev. Jack “Buster” Green and Scott Honea officiating.

Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens concluding with a white dove release ceremony.

Steven Thomas, Ty Sharp, Scott Honea, Mike Judd, David Thomas and Leanne Thomas will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 this evening at the funeral home.
