911 operators take flight
THE LATEST 911 OPERATORS class got a chance to fly in the Air Evac helicopter out of Etowah and learn about all of its features as part of their 911-dispatch training class. The class is given twice a year and overseen by Theda Bramlett, senior supervisor of training. Current class members, starting from left, are Shryle Runyons, Stephen Mayo, Jay McMahan and Dedra Verner, with the flight crew next in line starting with Jeanie Diden, flight nurse; Joe McPherson, flight paramedic; and Mark Jessen, pilot.
