Cleveland State’s Continuing Education Department will offer two free personal protection demonstrations on Thursday, Dec. 1 from 10:30 a.m. to noon and Dec. 3, also from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Both demonstrations will take place in the L. Quentin Lane Gymnasium on the Cleveland State campus.

If you are concerned about how to handle yourself during a threatening situation or would like to know how to defend yourself, Tom Patire’s Training for Life Course can teach you the necessary skills for self-protection.

Patire, proclaimed as America’s leading personal safety expert, will have two of his certified trainers at the Cleveland State campus for these free demonstrations.

For more information on the demonstrations, contact Barbara Werenko at (423) 473-2270 or Tracey Wright at (423) 473-4341.
