She was a member of Smyrna Baptist Church and a loving mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George Thomas Triplett and Lydia Adaline Woody Triplett; husband, James Cavett; daughter, Mary Ruth Locke; three grandchildren; brothers: Ernest Triplett, Fred Triplett, John Triplett, Bob Triplett, Luther Triplett and Carl Triplett; and sisters: Ada Presswood, Susie Triplett, Velma King and Irene Poe.
Survivors include her sons: Ray Cavett and wife, Bonnie, of Ocoee and Ron Cavett and wife, Jo, of Cleveland; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 28, 2011, at Smyrna Baptist Church with the Revs. Charles Cheatham and Jim Parm officiating.
Interment will follow in Smyrna Baptist Church Cemetery with grandsons serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Higgins Funeral Home and at the church one hour prior to the service on Monday.
