The Blue Raiders were led by six double winners against McMinn County and won 4 of 6 relay events. The outcome was in little doubt as Cleveland posted 15 first-place finishes, six second-place finishes and seven third-place finishes.
The girls team was led by Bri Foley who finished first in the 200-yard freestyle (2:13.40), her fifth state qualification tindividual medleye, and first in 100-yard backstroke (1:10.22). Brittny Bryant posted double wins in the 200-yard individual medley (2:32.43) and 100 butterfly (1:10.03). Abigail Jones doubled up winning the 50-yard freestyle (28.00) and 100 freestyle (1:01.41). Theresa Garaguso won the 500-yard freestyle (6:34.10) and placed second in the 200 freestyle (2:27.34). Lauren Barnette won the 100 breast stroke (1:27.09). Rebecca Bianucci placed second in 500 freestyle (7:36.66) and Lizzy Coyle placed second in the 100 breast stroke (1:31.06). The girls team won 101-61.
The boys team was led by Jonny Coyle winning the 200 freestyle (2:00.30) and 100 freestyle (53.97) earning his third state qualification. Mark Garaguso won the 200 individual medley (2:18.72) and 500 freestyle (5:46.00) and Robert Parr posted a pair of wins in the 50 freestyle (24.82) and 100 backstroke (1:05.65). Nelson Chung won the 100 butterfly (1:05.50) and placed second in the 200 IM (2:24.09). Austin Byerly placed second in the 100 breast stroke (1:15.91) and third in 100 butterfly (1:09.07). Evan Stutzman placed second in 500 freestyle (6:25.97) and third in 100 breast stroke (1:21.53). Sean Moran had two third place finishes, the 200 freestyle (2:18.72) and 100 freestyle (1:00.51). Levi Stokes placed third in the 500 freestyle (7:30.88). The boys team won 97-51.
The Blue Raiders will travel to UT Knoxville for a Tri-meet with Christian Academy of Knoxville and Anderson County on Saturday.
