Blain Edward Hall, 81, a lifelong resident of Polk County, passed away Thursday, Dec. 8, 2011, in a local health care facility.

He was a retired tow motor operator with Hardwick Stove. He was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Lila Rymer Hall; his wife, Lillian Davis Hall; daughter, Karen Hall; brothers: Arley Hall, Alie Hall and Fleetes Hall; and sisters: Velma Darnell, Minie Rogers, Alma Green, Charcie Wilson and Mary Corsey.

He is survived by his daughter, Ann Hamm and husband, Wesley, of Etowah; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Betty Bailey of Benton.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, 2011, at Antioch Church of Christ Cemetery in Old Fort with minister Doyle Parton officiating.
