He was a member of First Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Artie Trotter; first wife, Blanche Trotter; son, Burch Stanton Trotter; special aunt, Alice Trotter; grandfather, R.S. Trotter and grandmother, Ida Trotter.
He is survived by his wife, Lillian Trotter, of Cleveland; son and daughter-in-law, Nicholas and Sherry Trotter of Texas; grandsons: Stanton Trotter of Georgia and Nicholas Trotter of Texas; granddaughters: Kimberly Trotter of Georgia and Angela Campbell of Texas; great-granddaughter, Shauna Campbell of Texas; stepson, Dave Denton and wife, Angel Denton, of Cleveland; stepdaughter, Sandra Booher and husband, Richard Booher, of Cleveland; and stepgrandchildren, David Denton of Norfolk, Va., and Callie and Emily Booher, both of Cleveland.
A graveside service will be held at a later date.
The family requests memorials be made to the First Baptist Building Fund.
