The Ocoee Chapter DAR met Dec. 2 at the Elks Lodge with Mildred Maupin and Ellen McReynolds serving as co-hostesses. Linda Foster, chapter regent, led the DAR Ritual with Harriett Caldwell reciting the Chaplain’s Response. This was followed by the Pledge of Allegiance to the American Flag, the pledge to the Tennessee flag, the American’s Creed, the Preamble to the Constitution, the Daughters’ Pledge to the Flag and the singing of the National Anthem. The Ocoee Chapter daughters collected teddy bears to be given to the Cleveland Police Department. From left are McReynolds, Maupin, Foster, Mariann Dietrich and Helen Riden.
