EARLIER THIS WEEK, Secret Santa placed 10 $100 bills in a Salvation Army Red Kettle. Officials at the Salvation Army said a challenge to anyone who might give to help others this Christmas season was answered Wednesday when a $100 bill and another note were placed in another Red Kettle. The note read, “Thanks Santa’s Helper for the inspiration.” A Bible verse also followed the personal inscription. Ruthie Forgey of the Salvation Army said bell ringers will be present at locations until 6 p.m. Christmas Eve.”
