She was the daughter of the late Edward Woodward and Lillian Priest Woodward. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Chastain; daughter, Diane Burns; and her brothers: James Woodward and Ralph Dennis.
She was retired from Hardwick Clothing. She enjoyed going to the river and camping.
She is survived by three sons: Tim Burns, Travis Burns and his wife, Brenda, and Donnie Eldridge, all of Cleveland; daughter, Debra Taylor of Cleveland; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; brother, Roy Woodward of Cleveland; sister, Joyce Cooley of Cleveland; sister-in-law, Reba Dennis of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.
A Remembrance of Life service will be held at noon Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2011, at Wildwood Avenue Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes, with the Rev. John W. Smith officiating.
Interment will follow in Sugar Creek Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. this evening at the funeral home.
