Franalee June Thompson, 80, loving and generous mother and friend, passed away Sunday, Dec. 25, 2011, in a Chattanooga hospital.
She was a member of United Methodist Church.
A resident of Cleveland for the past 10 years, her former home was in California where she was very involved in her community in San Juan Bautista and San Jose.
She was also a member of the Chattanooga Porcelain Artists Guild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee H. and Frances M. Buchheister; her husband, Abe Thompson; and son, Eric Thompson.
Survivors include her two children: Brooke Annette Nolan and Aaron Eugene Thompson, both of Cleveland; four grandchildren: Clinton Nolan, Matthew Nolan, Daniel Nolan and Jack Nolan; and one sister, Karen Christopher of Boulder, Colo.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Morgan, Hill, Calif.
Ralph Buckner Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
