She was retired from Peyton’s Southeastern and was of the Catholic faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Susie Noland Maynard; husband, Daniel Joseph Rapp; son, Michael Joseph Rapp; brothers: R.T. Maynard and G.W. Maynard; and sisters: Irene Gathers and Dorothy Call.
She is survived by her children: Sam Rapp of Chattanooga and Tammy Cross and husband, David, of Cleveland; grandchildren: Michael Willey, Mathew Willey and Kevin Cross, all of Cleveland; sisters: Geneva Collette Love of Cleveland and Juanita Maynard of Tampa, Fla.; brothers: Sam Maynard of Cleveland and Troy Maynard of Brooklyn, Ark.; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted at 7 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 9, 2012, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home prior to the service.
