Claude Hall, 76, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012, at his residence.

He was a member of Samples Memorial Baptist Church.

He enjoyed fishing and hunting and was always found involved in hard work. He was a master carpenter.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Marlene Hall, who passed away June 9, 2011; parents, Julian F. and Zona Dunn Hall; 12 brothers and sisters; and son-in-law, Danny Thompson.

Survivors include his daughter, Brenda Thompson; grandson, Dane Thompson and fiancé, Shelia Bates, all of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held at 7 p.m. today, Jan. 31, 2012, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastors Lee Ingram and Mike Rymer officiating.

Interment will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2012, at Samples Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery with Dennis Parker, Arthur Miller, David Goins, Nathan Casteel, Tanner Goins and Terry Curtis serving as pallbearers.

A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 this evening at the funeral home prior to the service.
