911 reports indicated the crash occurred shortly after 8 a.m. as commuters were heading south along the interstate system.
No immediate details were available; however, traffic was slowed as officials worked to clear the scene.
n A pickup truck taken from a home in Bradley County during the weekend was found in Whitfield County, Ga.
A 1984 Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck was taken from a residential driveway during the weekend.
Kristopher Geren said he got up to go to work Saturday morning and discovered his truck was missing from the driveway at his residence located on Kincaid Road.
Several other people were at the residence, but according to reports no one noticed anyone take the vehicle. The truck was valued at $750 Deputy Andrew Coggin filed the initial offense report.
According to a report filed by deputy Michael Westfield of the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office, Whitfield authorities found the truck in their jurisdiction Monday.
Vehicle information had been provided and entered into the National Crime Information Center computer database. The information has since been removed and Geren was notified of the recovery, according to Westfield.
