Kids have changed a lot in the past 20 years. If we want to reach children with the Gospel, then we must speak their language and yet many churches are refusing to change. They still use the same tools they used 20 years ago.

A greater concern is churches that will change their message to be relevant today. Is it possible for a church to be cool, relevant and supernatural?

There will be a Transform your Children’s Ministry Conference, hosted at Living Word Church, International at 930 25th St. on Saturday.

Mark and Debra Harper will be ministering to parents and children’s pastors and children’s ministry workers giving over 30 years of insight into reaching the next generation.

The workshops cover how to be relevant and Spirit filled; what works and what doesn’t work today; 20 illustrated ideas; creative attention-getters; preschool ministry that works; preaching a 3-D gospel; organizing the preschool department, and getting parents involved.
