Delight Dawn Taylor, 52, of Ooltewah, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 2, 2012, at her home.

She was of the Christian faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Pearl Slagle Taylor; four sisters: Geraldine Taylor, Elizabeth Barrett, Ann Huff and Shirley Duckett; and three brothers: Charles W. Taylor, Paul Edward Taylor and Daryl Taylor.

She is survived by a son, Anthony Taylor of Greenwood, S.C.; four brothers: David Taylor and wife, Ann, of LaPorte, Texas, Robert Taylor and wife, Petra, of Bessmer City, N.C., John Taylor of Cohutta, Ga., and Dennis Taylor of Cleveland; two sisters: Sandra Veal and husband, Larry, of Cleveland and Hazel Hottel and husband, Robert, of Advance, N.C.; and one grandchild.

The funeral will be conducted today, Feb. 5, 2012, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Rev. Art Pflug officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Bethel Cemetery with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service.
