The Broad Street adult choirs, advanced handbells, and children’s choirs will lead worship, singing arrangements of favorite hymns and songs that celebrate the gift of music. The congregation will be participating.
Along with the handbells the music will be accompanied by Joshua Knight, organist, and Karen Viser, pianist.
The music will be directed by Cynthia Johnson.
Among other songs, a ladies chorus will sing a beautiful arrangement of “Amazing Grace” accompanied by George Olin on clarinet.
There are two sanctuary services at Broad Street — 8:30 and 10:45 a.m.
The public is invited to attend either of these services for a very meaningful worship experience.
The Rev. Reed Shell is the senior pastor at Broad Street UMC and the Rev. Debbie Stokes is the associate pastor.
Broad Street UMC is located downtown on Broad Street.
