Delaney Claire Goins, 7 months, passed away peacefully in the arms of her parents on Sunday, Feb. 19, 2012.

She is survived by her parents, Tanner and Kerri Goins; her big brother, Landon Goins, all of Cleveland; paternal grandparents, David and Rebecca Goins; maternal grandparents, Rick and Nora Maddron; great-grandmother, Pearl Goins; and great-grandfather, Charles Hysinger, all of Cleveland; aunts and uncles: Terri and Clint Miles of Jacksonville, N.C., Brittany and Jon Mantooth, Piper Hanna;, Courtney and Shane Harris, Cayci and Kent Smith, Paula Freeman, and Dot Self, all of Cleveland, Denise Shereff of Tampa, Fla., and Misty Lewis of Blue Ridge, Ga.; and special friends: Nancy Clemmer, Heather Case, Stephanie Foster, and Laura Frazier, all of Chattanooga.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Gibson officiating.

Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Jon Mantooth, Kent Smith, Shane Harris, Tim Hogg, and Richard Lesniewski will serve as pallbearers. The Cleveland Fire Department will serve as honorary pallbearers.

A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. today and Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m., prior to the service at the funeral home.
