Influenced by the musicianship of his parents, Wickham learned to play the guitar at age 12, playing mostly three-chord worship songs, and later led his junior high youth group in songs that he had written.
Wickham launched his music career by recording his first of seven albums, “Give You My World,” and touring California to promote it.
Recent reviews have praised Wickham’s latest album, “Response.”
The San Diego native has acquired a devoted fan base. Wickham’s hope for his listeners is for “inspiration to look outside of themselves and their circumstance to the world around them and truly worship God.”
U-Church is a free, nonticketed event for students, alumni, and the community.
