Ladies, get out your high heels, best jewelry, do your hair and come out to party it up with the girls for a fun night of dancing, music, getting your prom photo taken and participate in a silent auction. Mom Prom committee chair Karen Morgan describes it as “a celebration for every generation” inviting ladies of all ages form grandmothers to granddaughters, sisters, cousins and aunts.

Tickets have been sold from as far away as Texas and Iowa. Attending will be a special guest, 2011 International Red Hatter of the Year Linda Theriot, from Houma, La., along with a group from the Red Hat Jambalaya Mammas.

The Mom Prom 2012 will be held Saturday beginning at 7 p.m. at Sherman Hall, 100 College St., on the campus of Tennessee Wesleyan College.
