A “Happy Birthday Party” for Dr. Seuss will be held in the Community Room at the library from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. on March 2. Stories, games and crafts have been planned for this fun event along with birthday cake, of course! There are limited spots left for this event so call or stop by the library to sign up. This is a reservation event.

THE STITCHES-IN-TIME exhibit at The Museum Center at Five Points runs through March 10.

The Lego Club for Tweens, (ages 6 through 11) will have its first meeting on Feb. 28 from 4:30 until 5:30 p.m. at the library. Stop by the Children’s Department to see all the activities the club is going to do during the year. Be part of the planning by coming to this first meeting.

Classic comedy movie night will be held Tuesday at 6 p.m. in the Cleveland Bradley Community Room with a showing of “Casanova’s Big Night,” starring Bob Hope. All are invited to this free, family-friendly night.

“Living Well with Chronic Conditions” classes will continue Monday and March 5, 12, 19 and 26 (six weeks total) at the UT Extension-Bradley County Building, 95 Church St. S.E. Classes will be from 2 to 4 p.m. each session. For more information, call the UT Extension office at 728-7001.

The United Club will meet Tuesday at the Golden Corral at 11:30 a.m. Pat Smith will be the speaker. Meetings are open to the public. For more information, call Martha Bostic, 479-9207.

The Salvation Army will hold an event on March 24 at 7 p.m. called, “One Night with the King,” a prom for teenage mothers, at Peerless Road Church of God of Prophecy, 3301 Peerless Road. This will be a great opportunity to reach out to these young women with love and let them have an enchanted evening. People and local businesses are teaming with Salvation Army to help make this night memorable for these ladies. If you would like to donate dresses (sizes 0-26, cleaned), shoes, become a table sponsor, make monetary donations, or donate your time, contact Roxanne Corbett at 331-3780. SKY! Come Fly Away With Us!, The Salvation Army’s Spring Break Camp, will be March 26-30 at the Boys & Girls Club, 385 Third St., from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. This camp is for any child, first-through-sixth-grade, who will be in the Cleveland area during the Bradley County spring break holiday. Each day the camp will host different activities for the kids as well as interactive Bible lessons. This is a great opportunity for kids to be active during their break, make new friends, and learn about the love of God. For more information, contact David Munford at 310-4827.
