Ocoee Middle School is holding its fourth annual Empty Bowls event March 8. Empty Bowls is an international effort to fight hunger implemented locally by the OMS Art Club. One ticket purchases a meal for your family, entertainment and a ceramic bowl made by an Ocoee Middle student. The bowls serve as a reminder that there will always be empty bowls in the world. The event will by held at North Cleveland Baptist from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 per household and can be purchased by contacting art teacher Amanda Duncan at adduncan@bradleyschools.org or calling 423-476-0630. All proceeds from the night will go to The Caring Place to assist in the fight against hunger in our community.
