He was a former Toastmaster and worked for M&M Mars for 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Anastasia Bikas; and parents, Charles W. Bikas and Maria Mavrikas Bikas.
He was the beloved father of two children: Lena Sawyer of Cleveland and Charles Bikas and wife, Jessica, of Chattanooga; the grandfather of Jessamy Rose, Carleton Sawyer, Colin Sawyer, Kirk Sawyer and Darian Henderson; the great-grandfather of Alexander Rose. ; and two sisters: Mary Cozart and Helen Wade, both of Augusta, Ga.
A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 29, 2012, at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
