He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Young; three sons: Mel-Christopher Young, Damon S. Young and Dr. Justin C. Young; one daughter, Jennifer C. Young; three brothers: Robert Young, Alfred LeBron Young and Reuben (Pamela) Young; and several other relatives and friends.
The visitation will be today from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. with family hour from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Gregory B. Levett and Sons Funeral Home in Decatur, Ga.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 3, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Saint Philip African Methodist Episcopal Church, 240 Candler Road, S.E. Atlanta GA.
The Rev. Dr. William D. Watley Sr., and Pastor Officiant the Rev. Dr. Stafford J. Wicker Sr. Pastor, Antioch African Methodist Episcopal Church, Stone Mountain, Ga., will officiate.
His remains will lie in repose from 10 a.m. until the hour of service. Interment Hillandale Memorial Gardens.
The family will assemble at the church at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Gregory B. Levett and Sons Funeral Home, 4347 Flat Shoals Parkway, Decatur, GA 30034.
