Lee held off Reinhardt University, 4-3, and shut out St. Thomas University, 5-0, after tasting defeat for the first time in the 2012 season with an 11-3 setback to Trevecca Nazarene University.
The Lady Flames are now 15-1 and are scheduled to face Central Baptist College in the first round of the Gold Bracket at 9 this morning. Bracket play was scheduled to begin Saturday evening, but inclement weather forced the games to be postponed.

Ana Coscorrosa and Kelsey Barnes delivered two hits each to lead the Lady Flames. Barnes doubled twice and knocked in two runs. Coscorrosa had an RBI and scored two times.
Jennifer Ringle tallied a single and scored twice, while Charlie Wooden delivered an RBI single. Nicole Rodriguez and Dominique Hannah each singled in the win.
Brittany Balough (8-0) picked up the win after allowing six hits, two walks and one earned run in six innings of work. The senior struck out three Lady Eagles.

Jennifer Ringle and Laurel Allen recorded two hits each to combine for half of the Lady Flames’ hits against St. Thomas (2-7). Ringle tripled and scored once, while Allen came off the bench to double and score twice.
Savanna Bell and Kelsey Barnes were both 1-for-1 with an RBI. Tabitha Farrow ripped a two-run double and Charlie Wooden singled.
Brittany Balough scattered six hits and a walk over seven innings to record the six-strikeout, complete game win.

Lee received two of its six hits from Kelsey Barnes. The senior doubled twice, scored two runs and pushed one run across.
Ana Coscorrosa doubled and scored one run, while Farrow ripped an RBI double. Charlie Wooden and Dominique Hannah each tallied singles.
Jessa Watts was charged with the loss after giving up 10 hits, nine earned runs and three walks in five innings of work. Watts (6-1) struck out four Lady Trojans.
