The KO Legacy All-Star Dance Team recently competed in the Cheersport Cheer and Dance competition in Knoxville. The dedicated KO dancers won first place in Senior Pom defeating Jefferson County High School Dance Team of Dandridge and Gail Federick All Stars Dance Team of Corbin, KY. The talented KO team also won first place in Senior Hip Hop defeating Premier Sharks North Dance Crew of Knoxville. The team also brought home the coveted Best of Dance Award earning the highest dance score in the competition. The KO Legacy All Stars Dance Team is a select high school all-star competitive dance team that was pioneered by Cleveland Middle School Dance Coach Kelly Owens. Choreographer is Susan Dyer of Cookeville. KO Legacy 2011-2012 dancers are Ariana Kim,captain, Hannah Kalb, captain, Elizabeth Brooks, Jessica Greene, Keoisha Harrison, Laura Hays, Lexy Boone, Brooke Humble, Brynnan Miller, Mary Martha Maddox, Emily Hicks, Ashley Beaty, Ana Rocha, Erin Cooper, Tenlie Logsdon, and Aimee Barnett.
