She was preceded in death by her father, Asbery Ellis; her mother, Dora Dowdy Ellis; stepmother, Emaline Hicks; brother, Gary Ellis; and nephew, Steve Wallace.
Survivors include her sister, Edith Bullard; brothers; Tom, Frank, Albert, and Alvin Ellis; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends today, March 11, 2012, from 4 to 7 p.m., followed by the funeral at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.
Interment will be held at Lebanon Cemetery Monday at 2 p.m.
