Saint Marks United Methodist Church Disaster Response Team, Murfreesboro, pile logs and deadwood Friday afternoon after clearing fallen trees that have lain on the ground for nearly a year in Bates Pointe subdivision. They worked Friday afternoon at the home of Jerry and Betty Morris, whose home was rebuilt by television's Disaster Guy after the April 27, 2011, tornadoes. The church team brought their heavy equipment to Bradley County last year and returned again this year to cleanup in Cleveland, Delano and Etowah after the March 2, storm. Since their arrival on Wednesday, the group of retired men has cleared about six properties of new debris in addition to the old debris.
